Vicky Norrid was born in Benton, Illinois, and after moving to California in her early teens, attended Earnest Righetti High school in Santa Maria, California. Vicky Norrid received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science from West Texas A&M University, where she graduated with honors.
Ms. Norrid attended South Texas College of Law in Houston graduating in the top half of her class. After law school, Ms. Norrid and her family moved to Marietta, Georgia where she interned for the Honorable Judge Michael McLaughlin. In October 1996, Ms. Norrid became a member of the State Bar of Georgia. Ms. Norrid was sworn into the State Bar of Illinois in April, 2012.
Attorney Norrid founded her family law & immigration practice in 1996, and has practiced law since that time. Ms. Norrid has worked as a volunteer attorney. Ms. Norrid has returned to her home state of Illinois in 2011 and has set up her legal practice in Williamson County, IL. She provides legal service to all surrounding counties in and around Marion, IL. A passionate litigator for her clients and their issues, Attorney Norrid enjoys both pre-trial and trial practice.
Ms. Norrid's office is located about 500 feet from the Williamson County Courthouse in Marion, IL. In her spare time, Ms. Norrid and her husband compete as long-standing members of the national awarding winning, Lost Mountain BBQ Company competition cooking team out of Marietta, Georgia. The team has competed at the American Royal in Kansas City, Kansas and at Memphis in May in Memphis, TN and travels monthly to KCBS and MBA events. When not barbequing or practicing law, Ms. Norrid enjoys walking her two Cairn Terriers, Jefferson Earl and his little sister Sara Knox and occasionally sewing for family and friends.
